About Us

Melville Baptist Church has been in the streets of Melville for more than 60 years.

God has graciously sustained our congregation as we have sought to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and make disciples who know Him, love Him, and live for His glory.

Our desire is to faithfully preach God's Word, worship Christ together, and help one another grow as His disciples.

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired, sufficient, and authoritative Word, and that Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of sinners.

We realise our church and our lives are wholy dependant on God's grace, love and mercy so we seek to be prayerfully dependent upon Him in all we do.

Whether you've been a Christian for many years, are exploring for the first time, or looking for a church home, we would love you to join us.

We are an ordinary group of people who have experienced God's extraordinary grace through Christ.
